Fidel Ammar

Ward tastawiyiniwak

Fidel Ammar has called Edmonton’s Ward Tastawiyiniwak home for more than 52 years. He grew up in the area in a strong immigrant family, built his life here and raised a family. Fidel’s career has been in civic service, working for the City of Edmonton, City of ST. Albert and Government of Alberta, in transit and transportation system management. The work he’s done gives Fidel an inside track on how to improve the way our city operates.

Now, as part of the PACE team, Fidel is committed to getting back to basics and that means real value for our taxes, putting community safety first and supporting local businesses.
